now obviously, I didn’t take this photograph. but at first glance, sure, it’s not the best—It’s out of focus and overexposed.

But what you don’t know is the story behind it.

This was the last time I was at the beach with my senior dog, Carter. It was the last time he could run.

It was the dead of winter on a Sunny day. but Carter, For A Moment, was a puppy again. He ran towards the shore, chasing each crashing wave. he refused to let the water touch his paws, but he happily let the sand cover his nose. The smell of salt was strong and He made Every sniff count!

Vinny, my son, was only 5 at the time, And He Was Upset Because He Knew that After This Picture Was Taken, we were leaving the beach behind. The wind was intense that day and every gust brought a new tear to my eye, but I loved it.

I love the beach.

My journey into photography began while I was in the Army, a chapter that instilled in me a deep appreciation for discipline, commitment, and attention to detail.

It was here that I grew up fast. I became a wife, and then I became a widow.

He taught me photography.

After my husband passed, I opened my Photography business in 2013, but I didn’t excel until after I had my son in 2018.

Post-Military, I dove into my education. I wanted to know the how, that was the logical side of my brain. Then I wanted to know the why, that was the creative side.

I graduated from the University of Maryland with a BS in Criminology. At The Same Time, I Became A Certified Cosmetologist.

My criminology degree led Me to a Corporate 9-to-5 Job That Involves Legality and relationship building.

I apply my cosmetology to certain photography packages. Additionally, it helps me bring a unique flair to my weddings, ensuring that every detail, From Hair And Makeup To The Perfect Shot, is accounted for.

I wear many different hats, but I wouldn’t know what to do without them!

Currently, I only take 5-10 weddings a year. This schedule allows me to maintain a balanced personal, corporate, and Entrepreneurial life.

Due to this, I take client vetting seriously to ensure we are both a great fit for one another.
