I'm Kaitlyn :)

I’ve had the incredible honor of documenting stories that matter—from the whispered vows of a wedding day to the unscripted chaos of a family session. 

I’m Based in Olney, MD where I’ve spent the last 10 years as a wedding and lifestyle photographer to my families living throughout Maryland, D.C., and Virginia. 

When I turn on my camera I feel as though I am holding the earth in my hand. I notice every little detail, big or small. From the way the wind blows across the high grass, to the contrast of greens and yellows reflecting off of the leaves from the sun's warm evening light. It's magical and extremely grounding. 

I'm passionate about what I do which is why having a balance between my photography work and the active life around me is extremely important. 

Due to this I'm vey intentional with my bookings. 

When I’m not documenting milestones or moments in time, I'm a mother to a young, active baseball-loving boy who is always on the run for "what's next?" I also work a corporate 9-5 during the week. Passionate photographers need a steady income (IYKYK lol)!

But outside of being a mom, colleague, and entrepreneur you can usually find me exploring with a camera in hand just for the love of it. 

To that point, this year I launched my very own digital store front called, "Where My Lens Wanders," that opened in March 2026. It houses a collection of beautiful florals and quiet moments while I was taking in the world around me.
